Below are instructions on how to clean water jugs.
- Hose/wipe down the exterior of the jug to remove any dirt.
- Rinse out the inside of the jug.
- Add about a quarter cup of bleach with about 5 gallons of water. Do not put too much bleach!
- Shake the jug well and then let it sit for a couple of hours.
- Dump out the jug and rinse it several times. Let it dry.
- Wash the lid with soap and water. Use a toothbrush if neccesary.
- Once everything is dry, re-screw on the cap.
